When searching in the create an instrument menu, often two sets of samples come up. For instance, one patch will be found in the All patches folder and one will be found in its respective device folder. Is this normal? Are there two copies of the patches saved on my harddrive? IT would seem this way.

yeah.. that's right. i don't know whether the patch is saved twice or it's just a shortcut but i'd say it's probably just a shortut, otherwise it'd be double the size it'd ned to be.
