Ok.. I was recording fine with a setup of a korg PadKontrol and a MAudio keystation 61. I started messing with rewire in acid 6 with reason, things were ok. Suddenly, the notes arent recording in reason. I reduced the inputs to only the padkontrol, which triggers redrum fine. I arm the track for recording, hit record, the bar starts recording, i still hear the redrum being triggered, no notes in the midi channel!

I reinstalled reason, deleted the preferences, went into acid and restored all the default preferences for rewire, control surfaces and midi. I am able to rewire reason thru Acid and CAN GET IT TO RECORD NOTES! but they're all distorted sounding.

Keep in mind everything was working til i tried to hook 3 surfaces up and route them using the hardware interface and the advanced panel of reason. I do get sound from all the instruments. I get signals when i hit the surfaces. I only CANNOT GET NOTES WHEN RECORDING IN REASON ***and was able to do so in the beginning**

ANY IDEAS?!?! PLEASE HELP IM GOING MAD AND NOW CAN NOT RECORD THE SIGNALS HAUNTING MY MUSICAL SUBCONCIOUS!!!! THIS IS DANGEROUS! I MAY IMPLODE! :O

Wait which program is using your controller while in rewire, acid or reason?

If acid is using your controller you'll need to create a midi track that triggers one of reason's devices and record the midi data in that program.

I have the same problem with Reason 4.01 and Acid 7.0d in a new win7(64bit) setup.
Everthing was working great, but now I just hear the notes being played and get a blank recording in the note lane when I try to record midi in reason. (Even if reason is the only program running.)

I am using a standard midi port on a safire 40 interface, because I can't get usb drivers for my maudio oxygen8 for win7...

If anybody has any ideas, I would love to hear them! I feel like I'm just setting something wrong, but I can't find it. LOL Does reason have a preferances file I can delete?
