Smile Looping Melody CORRECTLY?????

i'm having a problem figuring out my niche on looping my melody correctly using reason..i have friends that use different modules within reason to loop their melodies accurately. I am having problems looping a simple melody that i'm not sure how many bars it is.
My goal is to get this melody playing continous while i lay other instruments on top

what do you guys use to accomplish this?
thanks
tony

Turn the loop on by clicking on the 'loop' button on the transport panel.
Then the song will loop between the 'L' and 'R' locators in the sequencer.
Matt.

ok..i understand that part....but if the loop isn't flowing smooth how i want it...do i adjust the R and L markers until the loop is moving smooth how i want it....or is there another trick???

also ...when i finally get it running smooth....i want to know a shortcut where i can just copy and paste it along the song at the specific L and R distance that i had set for the loop to run smooth in the first place

Smoothly?

If you have all your notes played correctly wth the tempo and time signature then you should have no problem looping. Just make sure you're making music in the time signature/tempo you desire and that you're notes are played on time. That's how composing music works lol

I'm sorry but what you're asking is so basic, that it's kinda unbelievable.

If you're asking question on this basic of a level, then you need to read reason's manual or help file. Learn everything you can, or at least the basics.

If you mean that the loop can't fit your whole intended loop, you can just move the L/R markers to listen to it. If you're not just exporting the loop, however, then you will either have to adjust the bpm or play/move the notes to go faster or slower.
