I'm not really sure if I understand your question or not, but many times when I want to drag something to another spot, I'll group it. Take your mouse and highlight what you want to move and then from edit, choose group. You can always ungroup later on. Maybe there's a better way, I don't know. Joe |

I think he wants to take off the snap to grid option, just click on the magnet icon at the top of the sequencer if that's what you meant.
