| Up until now, I've had no problems, but now, sometimes notes will just be held forever OR the flat out wrong notes will be played, EG. I'll be playing a c minor chord and those are simply not the notes coming out of the speakers... Anyone have any idea what could be going on? PS I have now since uninstalled the M-Audio Drivers and am trying to setup the keyboard again, so I plug the Axiom in; it goes through the "Found New Hardware" "New hardware is installed and ready to use" deal; I download the driver, install it, but now Reason can't Auto Detect the Axiom? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks Frustrated musician. Last edited by Jaxamillian; October 2nd, 2008 at 05:06. |

Same thing happened to me once, the wrong notes would be recorded. I simply reinstalled the drivers. If your axiom doesnt get auto detected by reason, you can still select add a new control surface, pick axiom from the list, then select the correct inputs, and it should still ask to overwrite preset 10. |

Yes SG, the wrong notes are being recorded! I'm having frustration with just the install now though, I dunno whats going on. It won't auto detect it, and the Axiom 61 is not on the list when I do Add>M-Audio....dunno whats going on. Should I reinstall reason or something? I'm not sure why it won't auto detect the Axiom or why Axioms are not listen under the M-Audio list when I try to manually add it. Another weird thing is that Axiom 61 is an option when selecting inputs. Hmmm... All the drivers and stuff you need are installed automatically when you hook up the keyboard via USB right? Sorry for so many posts but.. I DL'd the Reason Controller driver from M-Audio website; tihs solved the Reason not detecting the Axiom 61 problem. So I installed this again, but am still having the wrong note problems. Could it be because I have Reason 4.0 instead of 4.0.1? Is there some kind of installation order I can do that would give me a fresh start? EG uninstall all drivers, and reinstalling them in a certain order? Thanks guys. |

| Reason 4.0.1 is when reason "officially" supports the axiom, so yes the update may help.
