Hi guys i have just upgraded my work computers with Reason 4.0.1(MAC g5's) My problem is the Thor synth,for some reason when i play the upper octave-C4 of my controller keyboard(edirol pcrm 50) the notes are not sounding or sound is intermittent. is this a bug? is there a fix? any help plz.

seems to be only Thor, why do u ask,have u heard any other devices not working correctly with the same comp/controller combo?

No, just trying to help troubleshoot. If it was happening on the all the synths, I'd say it's your controller but if it's only thor, I'm not really sure. Make sure that a blank preset is selected and maybe open a ticket with Propellerhead?

sorry re-checked the other synths 2 day and yes they have the same prob notes not sounding. any ideas on how to resolve this guys.

Sounds like its likely to be your midi controller.

Try reinstalling your midi controller's drivers.

still know luck, ive installed the latest edirol drivers but still some of the notes are not sounding. this happens on all the synths.

Try messing with your audio buffer settings in reason.

And if that doesnt work, try using the asio driver (it helps with latency and audio problems)

Thanks but im on a Mac. it seems that the note C5 sends Midi intermittently. This has also now affected Logic 8 and cubase. is there a prob with this Edirol controller/driver and R4? this has really screwed my classes up.

It sounds to me like something is physically wrong with the controller, but I'm no pro.
