I'd recommend contacting Propellerhead support in that case.

You have 12(!) edirol keyboards? Well, you said, the same problem occurs with other software, too. So, I'd guess, it's not a Reason issue. The last reason for this problem must be a wrong configuration of the controller. I've seen, that the edirol has a Split-Mode. Maybe it's set up to send octaves 5-10 on another MIDI channel. Assure, that your controller has only set one key zone over all octaves on channel 1. |

Thanks but as i said i have 12 of these controllers. i uses them to teach Reason,Logic Etc for a college in East London. This all seems weird as i never had any probs with Reason 3 all worked sweet. i think it must be some issue with the edirol driver as all works fine when tested with an Oxygen 8 controller and a Roland juno D keyboard.

You can use MIDIMON (freeware) to easily monitor all raw MIDI data sent from your controller. There you should see, if higher octave are sent on another channel. You can find the tool here: http://www.programmersheaven.com/dow.../download.aspx It's an old Win3.1 tool, but still works. Last edited by iGoA; September 25th, 2008 at 11:39. |

Hi there, Have you been messing up with control-parameters override? Have you tried to reload the reason preset for your edirol? Cheers! |
