Default How to use .wav file as a patch in NN19?

I recorded a 5-second section of a drum/song from my Yamaha DD55 with Audacity and now I have a .wav file. I'd like to be able to use that as the basis of the rhythm and build on it later with my keyboard and the Reason stuff. Problem is: I can't get the .wav file to act as a patch.

I open the browse sample box in the NN19, but the sample won't load into the patch box of the NN19. How can I get this sample to become a patch?

I hope I'm not becoming a problem here, but I'm really trying to learn.

Thanks,

SirZune

hey, what you're doing is trying to open a sample with the patch browser, you need to open it with the sample browser.

on the nn19 it's on the middle top, left of the LCD display i think. on the nnxt its in the remote editor.
