You can't do this just in Reason. You need a program like Sound Forge. Joe |

Or you can rewire to Ableton or a similar DAW, but that would normally cost more.

Thanx guys How do I do it in sound forge? I actually have bought sound forge a couple weeks ago but haven't gotten round to using it yet. Also have a copy of ableton that I got with a behringer mic and mixer but don't wanna get into it. ( No Time Sound Forge would be sufficient, how do I do it?? |

In SF (I'm using 6.0) go to process, then scroll down to "time stretch." You can preview it in real time. UPDATE: I read your q wrong. You want to change pitch. In that case, go to "effects" scroll down to pitch. I usually choose "shift" instad of "bend." Now, you have two choices, semitones or cents. If you want to change it a half step or more, then choose semitones. Remember, there are 100 cents in a half step, so if you are only changing a wee bit, then choose cents. Choose "preserve duration" if you don't want to change the tempo. You can only stretch it so much (not much) before you begin to get an echo effect.
