| Using Reason in Rewire slave mode with Cubase 3 SX. I'm having a problem with Thor in Rewire mode where whenever I play hard on the midi keyboard (as a device of Cubase) the frequency knob (say on the standard Phase Dist Sync patch) goes to the minimum and, therefore, no audible sound is heard due to the low frequency set. I then go and put the knob in a higher value but, whenever I play hard (just a bit harder than soft) again, it goes to 0. Does anybody has this problem too? Why should I do? I am frustated as I'm planning to use Reason soon for a gig and this is a huge problem. Thanks |

There was a similar thread in this forum a while ago. I cannot remember the topic and what the solution was. Hope, you can find it via the search function. Maybe your keyboard sends some unusal MIDI signals when you hit a key. For example, it sends some controller values instead of only sending the note-on signal. You could try to have a look at the raw input with a tool like MIDI-OX (freeware). If you press a key, there just only appear note-on and note-off signals. |
