| First off, I know how to do this with my Reason refill's. But I can only get the "Sequencer Material" folder to appear when I'm opening from my Refill folder. Okay, maybe I'll try this way of explaining. Open mixer-open combinator-load combinator-go to "file" at top-go to import midi file- go to drum refills -open "sequencer material" -then go from there. My question: Can I do this if I didn't have the added drum refill? Do you have to have the extra refill to make this work? I've tried, but can't do it. Joe |

If you're only trying to import the MIDI file then you don't need any samples or patches or anything. MIDI data only contans automation parameters, notes etc, no actual patches or samples or anything. I think that's what you're trying to ask...? lol

BTW, He who hesitates is sometimes saved. Yeah Right, but if you only load a midi patch, you have no sound. So you have to load a kit into the combinator. Anyway, I figured out what I was wanting to know. I'd explain, but......... Joe Last edited by Joe Reynolds; September 1st, 2008 at 23:59. |
