| So, stupid question 2 of 1000 (i'll stop at 1k!) When creating a song, it's common to throw in an extra drum track, keyboard, etc as the music takes colour.... now it makes sense to me when you end up with many tracks that they should be grouped together, such as all the redrum bits being consecutive in the sequencer. Whilst the devices can be dragged & dropped to a position on the rack, and the same with the sequencer tracks (a bit stupid that one doesnt drive the other - but I digress), I can work out how to shift the mixer channels so they are also in an order that best reflects the outlay of the instruments being used. Or in other words, if Redrum is my third instrument in the rack and the sequencer, I want to have it on the third channel of the mixer as well..... Any ideas ? Peace, Jase. |

Well, you could just flip the rack around and reroute the cables to different patch plugs on the mixer. When you switch both the left and right of say, a redrum, from channel 4 to 3, the piece of tape on the front will automatically switch and you'll be good to go

Naw man, no stupid questions. It's actually good to ask questions cause it makes you think out of the box. I'd LOVE to pick Peff's brain but I don't want to be annoying lol

On propellerheads forum he's pretty much the most genius guy, he's released MANY free refills on their site and has quite a knack for thinking outside the box
