Default PadKontrol problem...

I set up my PadKontrol a while ago and it worked fine with Reason, not one problem. Recently, however, it stopped "registering". In the options, it'll be selected in the options even with a green check mark...however, when i try to use RedRum (with properly assigned pads), or anything else, nothing registers. There's no "green wave" that appears under the instruments little picture, or such...however, when i change to a scene with midi-control numbers (like 56, 65, etc...not C3, C4, D3, etc) that wave appears, meaning it knows i've attached a midi controller.

any ideas on what happened or how to fix this??

Just re-install your drivers, sorry I can't be of more help.

I reinstalled the korg one, which was listed as just like "Audio Driver" or something, then when it reinstalled it correctly said "Korg PadKontrol", and i even updated it with the driver on korg's UK site...how do i completely uninstall the driver though?

If it's not in Add/Remove programs you can go into the Windows\system32\drivers folder (I think it's that directory) and manually delete them, but i'd be careful and back up whatever you delete by renaming it like korg_driver oldversion.dll or whatever.

Tried that, no luck.

It works in Live, just not in Reason for some reason despite reason's options showing it there and working (green check mark)

there's not some weird setting I could've changed, eh?

I don't think so, are you sure that you've pressed the "find" button when you're adding the keyboard? You know, you hit a key on the keyboard and it finds the device alright?

If it works in Live, then you probably have the right drivers installed. This is not definate, though. It's a shot in the dark, but why don't you install it in reason as a generic brand and see what happens.
