Anyway to control VSTi in Cubase SX with Matrix?

Ok so i'm new to all this rewiring stuff. I've worked with Reason stand-alone for years but wanted to explore new sounds and synths with VST's so i now i use Cubase SX3. My question is if it's possible to open up a VSTi in Cubase and somehow play it through the Matrix in Reason? Sorry if this is a dumb question, i'm lost outside of Reason haha.

Reason does not have midi out.
