For some reason everytime i use the vocoder eg. subtractor as the carrier and nnxt with a voice sample. Now everytime i make say a chord or scale on the subtractor edit mode and play it back it sounds like the subtractor is playing together with the voice sample but they are just two mixed sounds. I want it so that if i have a chord playing on the subtractor i want the voices to hit the same notes in a nice vocoder fashion, but instead the voice stays on the same note and the subtractor plays the bass chord I made (bass was the initial patch)

if what i typed above confused you guys, think of it like this.... i play a chord on the subtractor and all it sounds like through the vocoder is a subtractor chord sound played with the vocal clip

Can you post the .rns? It sort of sounds like it's not hooked up right. Or explain exactly how you have the routings?

yea no problem man, i take a subtractor and hook the out to the input carrier on the vocoder. I take an nxt sampler with a monk choir that is under voice, patch it in on a root key, draw in a long line for the voice (edit mode) then i plug it into the modulator input. Next i take the vocoder to the mixer. Oh yea, then of course i play some stuff on the subtractor. Im pretty sure this is hooked up right but i still have the problem. Thanks!!!!

Okay, I just pieced all that together and put a matrix instead of one long note. http://www.fran-sys.com/vocodetest.rns I put the rns up on my brothers website, let me know if this seems better. Play some chords on subtractor, should work..
