| I've been playing musical instruments long enough to be able to dissect drum parts, etc etc, but when it comes to making sounds, I'm a complete beginner. I decided on the song Sexy Love, partially cause I hear it all the time, but partially cause it is (musically) simple, if sonically elusive. After settling on a kick and snare (which are 60% right, at best) from the stock Reason samples, I am totally stumped on this electronic synthy thing that is the primary chordal instrument in the song. And once (if) i do figure it out, I have no idea how to make it stagger/fade/swell the way it is. Any idea? The song can be found... http://www.myspace.com/justintimberlake it's My Love Be careful. You will want to skip to about 2 minutes in (1:38, at least), because it's a remix and they decided to mix in a bunch of garbage in the first minute thirty eight. Any help would be deeply appreciated, Thanks, Phil |
