I know this is going to be incredibly hard to believe, but I have that picture on a tee shirt I made back in the 10th grade haha.

I don't have any working hardware atm. I broke my soundcard and I'm looking for a good deal. Sucks... but I am saving for a 7.1 sound system.

1720 eh? You have the same laptop as I do, with the Sigmatel C-Major sound card? The audio jacks on those laptops are terrible, I don't know if you've noticed this but apart from being extremely flimsy, audio cuts off for a couple of milliseconds about twice a minute. You need to get a new soundcard if you're into music, the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS is what I'm looking into, there's an empty slopt on the left hand side which you put it into, you can run a 7.1 sound system off that.
