Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to record the "live audio" from reason while simultaneously recording "live guitar" (via mic to usb).

I'm trying to accomplish this within ACID. I'm having trouble setting the tracks in ACID to recognize the audio, (not midi) coming from reason. I setup the ReWire to recognize reason, and have it set as a soft synth, but then don't know where to go from there.

I'm not even sure if this is possible to do within ACID, if not can you recommend an alternative program that would be able to do this?

I HATE acid, but not because of its a bad app. Just because it was the first "DAW" I used back when I had no idea of what I'm doing lol.

I haven't used acid in a while, years actually. I'm sure acid can do this, i just dont know how easy it is. I do know that is extremely easy in ableton live or reaper. In both of those programs all you have to do is create a rewire track, arm them for recording then well, just press record lol. It's that easy.

If you're on a budget FL studio will work just fine as well, just don't buy any of their other crap products (Sytrus, toxic blah blah blah). It's all overpriced junk imo. Leave it for the FL fanboys

edit: Also as SG said Reaper I believe is free, sort of lol. But I never used it so I can't vouch for it :[
