| He uses a Macbook and I'm on a windows VISTA PC. We tried to move his songs onto a flash disk and then onto my computer, but when we did the my computer refused to even recognize 85% of his songs even as a reason song file. Has anyone experienced this problem before, or has anyone actually transferred successfully from a mac to pc? thanks everyone for your support!!! |

If all the rns files are saved with the self contain settings and you guys have the same refills, in theory this should not be a problem. I hope to GOD this is not a problem and that there is a simple fix because one of the main reasons why I'm using Reason standalone is for cross platform capability, but truth be told I haven't really tried my pc .rns' on a mac (moving to MBP in the near future, with any luck). The only other thing I can think is that maybe the data is corrupt somehow? Which also sucks. Best of luck and maybe others here have a solution

Thanks Ducat for the reply... I found a solution that has worked so far. You just open the song file you want and just save the file into a flash drive. I've done this with 6 or so songs and I've had no problems as long as I have the same refills and patches like you said.
