| I use Reason 4.0, my soundcard is integrated with a Realtek driver. On the advice of this forum I also downloaded the ASIO driver. Anyone else had this problem and managed to solve it? It's very frustrating as I was really trying to get my new system as fine tuned as possible and then this happened! |

Yeah, try downloading and using the asio drivers to see if there's any difference. http://www.asio4all.com/ If that doesn't help, you could try updating or reinstalling your actual audio drivers. And if your inter grated audio just plain sucks or your projects are too demanding for it you could also buy an usb or firewire soundcard and use that to process all the audio. |

I've downloaded the ASIO drivers already. It doesn't seem to make a difference to the problem whether they are present or not. The PC is only a matter of weeks old and had 3 gig of Ram and a quad core processor so should be more than capable of playing an MP3!! I should also point out that my drivers are up to date and "working properly". |

Did you already try to increase the sound buffer size? Installing ASIO4All is good, but only the half way.
