| I'm not much of pro when it comes to Reason. I just took the leap from pre made sample based production into a whole new world where I have to make my own bits and compile a track. So i'm very much used to the likes of Magix. Here's my first propper track using Reason and would love you guys to bash it so I can make it better. http://download233.mediafire.com/jth...e/project6.mp3 The genre is drum and bass and doesn't prove to be popular outside of the UK and Australia. It's also quite lengthy, seven minutes. Take a listen and tell me what ya think. Cheers. Last edited by kaine.shutler; July 4th, 2008 at 10:20. Reason: spelling error |

Wow you're a beginner? I've never would of guessed, really. Did you rewire or is this track made only in reason? Because if it was made only in reason you seem to have a pretty good grip of what you're doing for a reason beginner. Anyway as for the track I really liked it, pretty good mix (although I did almost go deaf listening to it at full volume :P ), alot of variation and I liked the choice of instruments. I'm not a big fan of the drum and bass genre but I thought this track was pretty damn cool. Like I said I dont really know that much about D&B so I dont know if I'm in any position to tell you how to improve the track, at least the structure of it anyway. Still though, I'd just thought I'd share my opinion. Great job, I like it. |

Yeah reason has unlimited possibilities when it comes to the routing, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with that. If you have any questions be sure to ask. |

Haven't listened to your track just yet because I'm at a programming course and I don't have earphones to plug into the computer, but I might listen to it when I get home if I remember. |

yeah i quite like this stuff man, never been a big fan of drum and bass but it is rather uplifting, better to get stuff out there now and get feedback, by any chance do you have a lot of arranging skills, would you say? sounds like it |

| Yeah I spent a good five years using Magix and MTV Music Generator on PS2 haha so my arranging is quite good. It's just making the samples which is relatively new to me. Hope I get better.

Sorry for bumping this thread... Anyway... I have lost all my work due to my hard drive fucking up and me not making any back-ups at all! The download link is now dead and I could really do with my track back! If anyone, by any amazing chance, still has this track, probably called 'Project6' in their download folder, please let me know! I really want this track back. Likelyhood is slim, but thanks.
