| I have Reason 3 and using oxygen 8 as midi controller. I cannot get MIDI to work in Reason, i am new to reason, and for what i can see it detects my controller, but when i try to record something let say from the controller to a synth, nothing happens, any ideas? thank you |

I think of two things, Are you selecting the divice you want to play correctly in reason? Second, if you goto edit - > preferences, are you sure that the audio tab is setup correctly with latency, is your controller REALLY detected? I have the oxygen 61 about $300 for this controller, but you can manually put in a usb device as your controller, BE SURE ITS SET AS A USB DEVICE. You could just add a controller that isnt detected. Select manufacturer as 'other' then lets say you have knobs on your controller surface, then choose the setup that detects knobs aswell as keys. Make sure you take the last step, MIDI INPUT, this needs to be usb as your using a usb device for the control. If none of this helps, please explain the issue in greater detail and I will look into the answer some more for you. Thanks -Arik |
