You need a min of 2GB RAM for music prod, you'll soon find that when you get large sessions on either prog going when using them as standalones you'll get latency and the computer crashing etc !

I would advise you to upgrade your RAM urgently ! Wot spec is your processor ?

If you're only running 512 gb of ram, then that is most likely your problem. When you slave, you're adding more load to the computer. Two gb is the minimum, but if you've got a couple combinators going along with a lot of processors, and maybe some other things, I'd get at least three gigs of ram.

Wow really? I didn't think that music production needed high specs at all... Guess it's because I rarely use DAWs, only Reason. Doesn't matter though, my laptop has 2gigs of RAM and I'm getting 4GB for my gaming PC.
