Each button is a different pattern that can be 64 notes long. A1-A8, B1-B8 etc. You create a pattern with your mouse in the step sequencer, then record or automate changing between patterns. |

you REALLY need to read the manual . . . . this machine may appear complex, but a drum machine is pretty standard in the world of both hardware and software -- a cursory explanation isn't going to help you really understand what you are doing, and you ARE going to encounter this machine a LOT
