| My midi keyboard (Oxygen 49) only allows me to transpose octaves not individual notes.... so i was wondering anyone knows how i get can Reason to transpose single notes?? I have learnt how to transpose once recorded in reason... however would benefit alot more if i can have reason transpose 'whilst playing'. If anyone knows how i can do this your help would be appreciated. Cheers, Spiro |

There are several ways to do this. For one, you can highlight just the individual note that you want to change. Another is to automate the notes that you wish to change. For playing and changing while playing, you could assign a controller from your keyboard to the "tune" knob on the nn-xt. Or you can assign a controller to the pitch wheel on the processor you're using. These are a couple of ways. I'm sure others have different ways to do this. Joe |

When you put your device into a combinator, you can set a transpose value for this device in the programmer. This is better, because you don't need to edit the patch everytime you load another patch. (I believe, this function in the combinator is new since V4. Not sure...) |
