Default How to play Reason live?

How do you get it to play loud?

Is there a way to hook up your laptop to a PA or amp or something?

Please tell me how it works.

Hi,
I have Reason on a laptop and that is connected to a Line 6 Toneport UX2 through usb. The audio outputs of the UX2 go to a mixing desk through jack connections. The outputs of the mixing desk go to the inputs on the amp and then out to the speakers. Then the volume gets turned up to 11.
That's how it works for my setup.
Matt.

I've done it before using a regular old mixer. There is a cable that goes from speaker size (stereo) to split left and right 1/4" size (for the mixer). The mixer I then hook up to an amp and call it a day. Of course, the amp isn't stereo at all so it's pretty corny, but, it works.

Thanks guys. How do you go from the amp to speakers? What kind of cables do you use?

Does the sound come out stereo (L and R) if you do it this way?

It depends on what type of connections that are on your amp, banana clips, 1/4", RCA ect. Look on the back of your amp to see what you have.

If you have a stereo amp you will get stereo.
