Default sequenceing help?

hi i am having issues when 'coppying a redrum pattern to the track' as each drum sounds slightly shorter and abit more muted than when i play the redrum on its own. also is there a way in which you can play the sequencer track without the redrum playing over the top?? this es reeet mistifieing my ass but im sure theres a really simple way round it!?!? so any knowledge of whats gwanin here would make me rarther happy!!

i'm not sure why each channel would sound shorter and more muted.. :? but to stop the flange noise you get when you play the redrum pattern over the sequence, just click on "enable pattern selection" (or something along those lines) which is next to the pattern bank selector.

Usually the generated notes in the sequencer track are too short after copying a redrum pattern into it. Just mark all notes and enlarge them. Then it will sound like in the redrum pattern sequencer again.
