Hi, The easiest way is to load the .rex file into DrRex and then you can play each slice with the keys on your midi keyboard. If you want more control over each slice then maybe you could load the slices into an NN-XT. Matt.

matt -- not only do you have a great name (it's mine too) but you have great ideas -- the keyboard is definitely a great way to play around and come up with new loops from an old one another way to do that -- depending on your need, of course -- is to open a redrum, browse to the rex file and open it and you can select individual slices that way -- i do this a lot to pull little slices from various rex files -- then i can process them however and it makes great glitch beats, effects, or crazy tracks |
