Default Can the regroove be used on drum patterns?

I'm fairly sure you can't but can you use the regroove mixer on your drums when the they are triggered by patterns in the sequencer window, or do the drum patterns have to be copied to track (notes) for the regroove unit to work.

If so then is there a way of copying all my drum patterns (A1, A2, A3, A4 etc) to track at the same time? rather than changing the sequencer locators and then finding the pattern on the redrum and copying it to track for each pattern.

You have to enable shuffle on the Redrum, and then use the 'global shuffle' knob on the regroove mixer to add groove if you don't copy patterns to track.

It maybe best to create a 'pattern lane' then when you have created 1 clip, you can just hold down the 'ctrl' key and drag out a copy, then use the drop down menu by A1 to select another pattern for the new clip that you have just dragged out from the first one.
Hope that helps,
Matt.

actually, correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that you do NOT want to hit the shuffle on the redrum as that is a primitive re-groove -- it will literally shuffle the pattern and possibly confuse the re-groove results

i think if you send your patterns to track -- the way described above is perfect -- you can then apply re-groove and work out what you want

You can't add regroove to a pattern lane, that's were my drums already
There are written as patterns, A1, A2, A3 etc.

SG - you know what i'm on about?
