Whatever you buy, just make sure it has buttons and knobs, you'll be a much happier camper Otherwise, it comes down to personal taste really. Some people really love the m-audio stuff, others Korg. I myself have two oxygen 8's - one small, one 61 key. |

How about the Axiom 61? I like the built-in drum pads on it. Otherwise I was going to buy a drum pad controller and a keyboard, which may cost more, plus take more space. Anyone here use the Axiom 61?

The Axiom 61 would be more than fine, I don't see why you're stressed about which to get, they all do the same thing basically, if you see something that's laid out in a way you like, go ahead and buy it! if it's broke you can easily get your money back or a replacement.

I have the axiom 25, and the axiom series should go very well with Reason, it even has built in presets for it. The drum pads are sensitive enough to get the job done too. If you do get it, be sure to check out the program enigma (also made by maudio) which will give you complete control over your axiom. |
