Hi Folks;
I'm a Reason virgin as of the last 2 weeks but i'm starting to get up to speed quickly. I found a great tutorial on YouTube about hooking up a Subtractor gate to a Redrum channel. I'm wondering if there's any way that i can patch that single gate across all channels OR do I have to set up multiple unique Subtractor gates to each Redrum channel That would be a lot of Subtractors. Additionally can i use the same technique of patching a Subtractor gate to other instruments (ie: Rex, NNT 19 sampler).

Hopefully someone can help out a newbie. Hopefully i'll be able to take the Reason training wheels off soon

Maybe I don't quite understand what was meant lol, but I had some time this morning and maybe it looks something like this? Even if this isn't what you were looking for, kind of gave me some good ideas for weird drum effects (some LFO would make things interesting )

Spider 1 merged links to Spider 2 slot 1, Spider 2 merged links to Spider 3 slot one etc. Dumps to gate so on playing any drum sound in redrum subtractor is triggered with it.

Satellite: Always post solutions for anyone who may be having the same problem, both of your messages were cryptic. He or she probably won't come back n'ha because they've figured it out themselves.

This is a GREAT article, thanks for the link! The beauty behind Reason is that there's so many ways of doing all different kinds of crazy things, I swear every time I pop it open I'm trying something new. Sometimes it's crap, sometimes it's awesome, but everytime is good fun
