Sorry about the misplaced post, I didn't even think there might be a general thread for hellos.

That's interesting (Prodigy). I liked them a little bit but not a huge amount. I do like the big sounds tho. BT. Crystal Method. Squarepusher. But also the more d&b-ish stuff, Swayzak especially.

Thanks for the input!

I've listen to all of squarepusher's tracks, prodigy's etc... i like drum and bass and especially LTJ Bukem. Repetitive but great chill-out tunes.

Maybe this thread should be sticky? Probably won't catch everyone but it'd probably catch a couple...

It should, but moltar is still figuring how he should lay out the forum and it would get all cluttered... heck one more wouldn't hurt, i'll just sticky this.

hey, I'm Michael, from Charlotte, NC. I twiddled with 3 a little a couple of years ago and just got my copy of Reason 4 last week. Been dj'ing for the past 10 years. Caught the production bug a couple of years ago and have been working with Ableton. Now I'm using Reason 4 rewired with Ableton 7 and the world is a happier place to me. I cant wait to learn the ins and outs of reason!

Hi folks - I'm Steve and I'm a teacher from Cardiff. Favourite bands are Prodigy and System of a Down. Grew up with the rave scene and believe that music peaked in 1992! I'm loving the rave revival that's going on with the release of rave-breaks / hardcore-breaks tunes.

I like a variety of music from gabber and speedcore, through breakbeat and hip-hop, to a bit of metal or even folk. Never been a fan of house or r'n'b.

Just got hold of Reason 4 after a little playing with v3 and looking forward to pissing off my wife with poorly produced repetitive beats and riffs!

Nice. I like all electronic music, from acid house to drum and base, and abstract trip-hop.

hello, I'm Scott. I've been using reason since last july, but seriously working on music since the beginning of this year. I disliked reason 3 with a passion, probably on account of how much of a newbie I was(not saying i'm suddenly not a newbie anymore), but when reason 4 came out I went bananas. This program is awesome and I'm definitely going to pursue my interest in it. I may or may not be the youngest person on the board at the tender age of 17. My name reator is creator without the c. I don't consider myself a full fledged "creator" of music, so in respect to those that are, I drop it out. This is probably the only place I'll use this pseudonym.
