i am from berlin and i've been producing crappy ass beats (and i mean really shitty productions with the cheapest samples out there) with fruity loops for some time now... i'll probably get my ass kicked in here for this fact...
but hey! i installed reason 3.0 eventually... that's all that matters... doesn't it ?!
will come up with some noob ass questions in the future so get ready to roll on the floor, ladies and gentlemen !

I think it's better to start with shitty stuff, that way you get better with good stuff later on. I started with fl as well, but switched to Reason pretty quickly.

Just stopping in to say hello to all fellow reason players and users. Just got mine a few days ago. So I am still learning to use it and having fun doing it.
I will learn alot reading up on everyones experience and drop in to ask any questions.

Hi all,

I'm a forum + Reason n00b from the United States (just outside Boston).

Picked up Reason 4, a MacBook (OS X 10.4.10), an Axiom 25 and a PS2 controller via JunXion so you'll probably see a lot more of me asking really basic questions. On one hand Reason is very intuitive but in other areas, I'm all thumbs.

While I'm not even close to completing a song, here's one I'm working on right now:

That song reminds me of the prodigy... they used to use leads like that all the time. and liam was definitely known to have used reason.

I am Matt, live in NY for now. Just a hobbyist but I've been using Reason for about a year now, prior to that FL for about 8 (so don't feel bad former FL users, I'm guilty too lol).
