good reply, jmch! another option -- just so you know -- is to do the "to track" as described (and that you do!) -- then you can add another note lane in the same dr. rex -- this adds a whole new line for you -- and you can draw clips, add notes, etc. the advantage to doing this is that you can save time if you are going to be playing the regular loop along with looping something of your own creation based on the rex loop. otherwise, if you are only throwing a note here and there, double-clicking the loop and editing that way is your best bet!
