back in 2000 i had been vinyl djing for about 5 years and a friend suggested that we should try and make a few tunes.. the first prog i used was on the playstation 1 called music 2000 (HEY SCEZ !! HA HA ).. christ it was shite !!! then a guy at the music shop where i used buy mixers and stuff said he could get me a copy of reason for 30 quid !!! bastard.. anyway i bought it off him and after two years using it i decided to try out ableton live and vsts.. i now use the two together with rewire getting the best of both worlds !! its a pity reason can't support vst technology because there are a lot of good ones out there. perhaps in the next version ? i find the reverb effects and filters in reason are far superior and less cpu comsuming than any plugins i have used.
