All started when i was doing a schoolwork with some mates and then, one mate puted on some psytrance cd old gms, paresense, infected mushroom, goa gil mixes, and i never eared psytrance before but then i though wow this is really cool, i already listened aphex twin, basement jaxx, but those psytrance basslines and patterns and sounds are really great, then i start searching on the internet how they do it, in the beginning i though that was made all by hardware and with tapes, but then i founded a bunch of people in irc with more knowledge in the field and they said no you can do it with your computer, you have flstudio, reason, cubase, then i start searching for the software around 2 years just messing around with them learning and didn't had any connection with music before, but then i chose reason 3, more light for the computer and i like it because it is an hardware emulator, is ergonomic, i think the sound of reason is closer thing you can get to emulate the analog hardware electronic sounds, and like subtractor, thor, maelstrom, rv7000, combinator is great and the all reason system makes great sense to me...
