My wife purchased REASON for me way back around 2002 or so... maybe version 1... it sat on my bookshelf for years and then towards the end of my first record, I was looking for something "unique" for the last song we were recording. I installed REASON and started to dabble with it in REWIRE mode playing along to my sequencer in DP. Finally after about 2 hours or so I was able to get something done that fit the chorus the way I heard it... this rhythmic pulse... after that I started to fool around with REDRUM and getting some loops going. Before long I was producing demos for my next record keeping everything in REASON. I was blown away by the power and flexibility it offered. Now for my second record, it is the only sound mod I use. I run DP alongside it for audio and its flawless.

As a side note: I have tried working with LIVE several times but cannot seem to wrap my head around the workflow/layout. I`m sure its an awesome program but I found REASON to be much more intuitive and inspiring to work with so far.
