rewire is a huge resource hog ... if you all you are going to do in cubase is vocals exporting the instrumental as a .WAV is the best way ...
rewire into cubase / sonar / nuendo used to be the only way to truly master
a reason instrumental .. i used to rewire when i wanted to use mastering wav bundles or pop a plug in onto a particular sound but now i pre-master in reason export to wave lab and finish the job .. finally import the mastered
.WAV into whatever program ready to bump feel me.
