I see. Thanks for the advice. I am still figuring how to play with the sounds to change them around. I'm all over the map right now. Sometimes I come up with stuff that sounds pretty cool...but it can be frustrating. I have a tutorial that I refer back to....which...similarly...got me started but some of the stuff is still elusive.
I have some songs I like, though. Not doing as much Trance as I thought I would...I am going to hunt the forum for some (more) tracks to be inspired by. I'd like to hear some of your all's stuff if you're open to that. At any point in time.
I have a friend who has appeared to become rather successful in breaks music who started on Reason. He works for the station Breaks FM and now works with people in London making breaks mixes. I like the sound of the stuff, but am not sure that I'd really want to invest that much $$ in using other people's stuff purely...I dunno. Mixing breaks, he claims, is much easier. But I like the idea of making my own stuff.
