1) It took me about a year, but it all depends on your background. If you have any musical knowledge or have ever played around with making music... I had no musical knowledge (and still don't), but I've been playing with music since I remember myself. But nothing like Reason.

2) I am the owner of the forum, yes. There are just aren't many people here yet, so I am helping out as much as I can.
