Electronic music is layed out completely different to traditional music. It's just a lot easier to lay it out the way it is.

I think that cubase at least used to be able to show musical notation, ut as for reason, there is no way.

You can, however, go to the key lane and it will show you what keys you have recorded on (C3, D#4 etc.)
