No you can't record anything acoustic like that directly. You have to record it with other software, like Sound Forge, slice it, turn it into a rex file with ReCycle, then load it into a Dr. Rex loop player.

I think that you can buy these devices that turn electric guitar signals into MIDI (Reason can only record MIDI input).

Rewire is for loading Reason as a device into another program, like Cubase.

Also, if you are using an NN19, I think that you can loop that without copying and pasting, I saw something like that but didn't have time to experiment.
