As for your Korg, you've chosen the wrong type of keyboard, instead of other, you should have chosen Korg.

If you want to change between patterns, make sure you're recording with ReDrum, then, whenever you want to change the pattern, press the buttons while recording... for example, if you want to change between patterns A1 and A2, start recording. You'll see a section where you can change between patterns, when you change a pattern when you're recording, by press buttons A and 2, it will change automatically for you. This is called "automation" and can be done with any control on any device.
If you want to repeat a loop on a sampler or syntheziser (such as a SubTractor), you use the magnet tool and the pencil tool to create a group of notes that you want to repeat over and over again, and yes, you copy and paste the required amount of times.
