Default microKORG setup + some questions

Recently I purchased the korg microKONTROL. Along with it came "Reason (3) adapted for korg". I played around with it for some time and decided to upgrade to the full version of Reason 3. But Reason 3 doesn't detect the controller as "control surface" if I do auto detect
If I manuallly ad an KORG 'other' 'midi keyboard w. controls' the functions are very limited/ do nothing, unlike the adapated for korg version which worked perfectly!
How do I set it up to work exactly like Reason adapted for korg?

Now for some other questions
I'm used to 'Fruity Loops', there you make 'loops' which you then sequence in a playlist. Reason does not work like this. So if I make 2/3/more 'patterns' in redrum. How do I get reason to put them on the timetable and play them in the order I want? Am I supposed to select the pos. where I want it with the loop markers and then press "copy pattern to track" in redrum? (just checking Im im understanding how reason works..)

Then "SUBTRACTOR". What if I want to 'loop' something there? do I play/record it in manually on the timeline, then copy/paste it over and over again where i want it?
Oh and how do I record changes to knobs within Redrum / subtractor/ anywhere?
I've probably got a dozen of other questions, but these are the ones that are really keep me from getting properly started in Reason 3!

Thank you
