Yes you can ... , am doin this as we speak ... ( Works perfect ... Rack on my 90 degrees tilted 19" and the sequencer on the other one ... )

its got 1 gig of ram but can support 8 gigs so what type of modules should i get << Depends on your motherboard ( Check what kinda RAM it is , or take the "old" one to your local shop ... )
will i be able to use a terratec ews64xl card << In most cases all soundcards will work ... (If ASIO not supported on DX ... ), but best thing is that the card supports ASIO ...(Low latency ...)

if some big strong person could hold my hand through this initial build up process i'd surely put in a good word with the almighty
